Affiliate Disclosure
Plain-English: how this site makes money, and the line we won't cross.
Two Bucket Club is free to read. We keep it that way with affiliate links— when you click a “buy” button and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from the retailer, at no extra cost to you. That’s the entire business model, and we’d rather tell you exactly how it works than bury it.
The Amazon Associates program
Two Bucket Club is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Most of the product links on this site are tagged Amazon links; when you buy through one, Amazon pays us a percentage of the sale.
How our links work
Every “buy” link on the site routes through a /go/redirect before it sends you to the retailer. That’s a standard, tidy way to manage affiliate links — it lets us keep the tag in one place and, in future, point a product at a better retailer without rewriting the page. The link is marked rel="sponsored nofollow"and opens in a new tab. That’s it — there’s no tracking pixel following you around the web.
The line we won’t cross
Commission neverdecides a recommendation. The reasoning behind a pick is identical whether a link earns us anything or not, and when a cheaper product beats a pricier one for the buyer, the cheaper one is still our pick. We also don’t accept payment for rankings, we don’t take free products in exchange for reviews, and we don’t run sponsored “top pick” slots. If that ever changes, this page will say so. Read exactly how we pick for the full method.
Prices
Prices shown on the site come from a live retailer feed and are stamped with the date they were pulled. They change, and we don’t control them — the price you pay is always the price shown at the retailer at checkout. Where we can’t pull a current price, we show “Check price” rather than a stale number.
